Elsa Frozen Wreath

Wow it's been a long time since I posted anything, sorry folks will try to do better!
Today I am posting my newest wreath I made for great granddaughter who is a huge Frozen fan especially Elsa! So to make this wreath I started with a 24" work wreath form silver with silver balls. I found the neatest deco mesh at my local JoAnn's store it is blue ombré, I also used some turquoise mesh and pink ombré the rolls are 10"x10', my personal favorite size. Each piece is cut at 12" and two layers are the ruffle technique and between the two rings I used the curly method and add turquoise and pink ombré for extra fullness. I like my wreaths to be as full as possible without any empty spaces. After the mesh was all attached I added my ribbon, I used 2/12" snowflake ribbon and 1" transparent silver swirl ribbon, 2/12" Elsa ribbon and 1" Elsa and Anna ribbon. I cut all the ribbon at about 13" and dog-eared the pieces and stacked them together and attached to each tie. For snowball I used tulle Pom-poms half glittered and the other half plain. On top of the "snowball" I added Frozen themed bottle caps. Also I added some deco flex tubing between the two rings. I secured everything with hot glue. Lastly I added Elsa and wired her to the middle of the wreath. I also added a necklace which is actually a child's braclet. Well that's about it. Thx for stopping by! Can't wait to see my great granddaughters face when she see this, ought to be a "priceless" moment :))

Our Savior is Born

This is my lastest wreath I made in honor of our Savior Jesus Christ.
The base of this wreath is made like all my others with 2 layers of ruffled mesh and 2 layers of rolled "Curley" mesh. Most of the elements follow the theme of the wreath. Also has various ornaments in different colors to match the ribbons and mesh. I think the gold cross added to the middle really adds an elegant touch. The bow on the bottom is also related to the theme. It is the first bow I have created and I also believe it adds class.
This wreath is listed for sale on eBay and my Etsy store "Mitzis Door Decor"
Thank u so much for stopping by to view my blog :))
My next 2 projects are a burlap wreath and a Easter wreath, so check back in the next few weeks to see my new additions.

My first Christmas wreath

Hi everyone I am back after a long break! Been busy with baby shower bday parties ect! Anyhow finally got this wreath done! I made it for a very dear friend! She has seen it and she loves it, yah!
For this wreath I used the ruffle technique and the curly kue technique, the reason I used both is bc I wasn't happy with all the space between the ruffles so I filled it in with the curly! I like the way it turned out very full and thick it measures 36x32 and I am not sure of the depth, it is huge and u would need a big door to hang it on. Of course u could also hang it inside. I have seen people hang them on mirrors which is really pretty! Anyhow as with all my wreath they r made with love, the joy I get out of creating beautiful things for people I love is a feeling I can't even describe! Just wonderful!😌
I filled this wreath with lots of christmas picks and 5 different high quality ribbon and ornaments that I got at my local costco's. I am really impressed with the quality and the cost! The Santa is the cutest little thing ever ( I found him at michaels). Thank u so much for stopping by to c my blog! I hope u enjoy what u c here and if u have any questions feel free to ask! Stop by again soon! I already have another one done which I will b posting soon so make sure to come back so u can c it! It is super cute! 😌
